An AEG, or Automatic Electric Gun, is an airsoft gun powered by a battery. When the trigger is pulled, the trigger contacts complete a circuit, turning the motor, which turns the gears, which pull back the piston, then forcing it through the cylinder, propelling the BB. AEGs are the most popular primary weapon among airsofters, and can range anywhere from $100-$600. This only includes the base gun, not including upgrades.
